So this week was super crazy! Mike and I hurried to move our new TV stand into our apartment Monday night. He wanted it in before Tuesday because some of our friends living in Mississippi were coming in for the Journey concert, and he wanted to show it off. Well Hurricane Isaac changed all of our plans, the concert was moved to October, our friends stayed in Mississippi, and we prepared for the weather that was coming our way.

Our TV stand is a variation of a media stand by
Ana White. It took us about two weekends and a few weekday evenings to finish it. We decided not to add the top shelve doors on it for the time being. The only thing left to do is to add the glass to the bottom doors.

And how did we manage with Hurricane Isaac? Drinks and snack food kept us from going stir crazy from cabin fever.
